This Privacy Policy explains how VoltVid AI ('we', 'us') collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our AI video generation platform. This is placeholder copy and should be replaced with reviewed legal text before public launch.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account (email address, name), content you submit for generation (prompts, uploaded images), and usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information. Payment details are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve the service: generating your videos, maintaining your library, processing payments, sending transactional emails, and diagnosing technical issues. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Your content
Prompts and uploads are sent to our AI model partners solely to fulfil your generation requests. Generated videos belong to you. We retain them in your library until you delete them or close your account.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete individual videos at any time, and you can request full account deletion from Settings → Danger Zone. Upon deletion we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
